It's that time of year again! Theatre on the Road's interactive, dinner theatre version of the holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, is celebrating its 24th year. The show not only remains a family tradition for many but enchants new fans every year. Many have seen Scrooge, the Ghosts and the Cratchits from a theater seat but very few have dined with them.
This year Theatre on the Road has 7 public performances and The Venue Uptown is lucky to be one of them. This family show is a tribute to the spirit of a traditional holiday. You will experience the joy of Christmas as you're invited to feast with the Cratchit family including Bob, Mrs. Cratchit, Belinda and everyone‘s favorite - Tiny Tim. In scenes right out of Dickens’ classic book, you’ll be treated to visits from Ebenezer Scrooge, his Nephew Fred, the Man of Goodwill, the ghost of Jacob Marley and the three spirits of Christmas. In addition, holiday carolers will entertain at your table.
Join the festivities, which include a fine three-course plated dinner, caroling and interactions with the characters Charles Dickens made immortal. Entrée choices include herb crusted salmon, stuffed chicken breast and vegetarian pasta primavera. Consider sharing the experience with your loved ones. We think there's no better way to celebrate the season. Click the link below for more information and tickets.
Happy Holidays!
